Drew, Dante, and I got out of the Castro Valley Safeway and saw this beauty of a bike. It was screaming, "Take my picture." So I did. And since I have been drawn to post-processed photos, thanks to Picnik.com, I applied "cross processed" effect on this one.Cross-processing is a term used mostly in lomography (my other love of analog photography) where slide film is used to take the photo and then processed in regular film solution. The result is this nice color saturation and because it's lomo, it has a nice old-look quality to it.
I must say, I'm somewhat disappointed that I can't get back to film photography lately. Times are a bit tough now-a-days with gas prices going up to almost $4.00 a gallon that every little spending is tracked. Film photography can get a bit costly, so it's been put on the back burner for now. Digital photography post-processing takes care of my lomo love--for now anyway.
I also happen to love the color of this ride.
